About the Program
The Hockey Academy is a comprehensive skating and instructional skating and skill development program.  The goal of the program is to provide a fun, instructional program geared towards teaching hockey foundations in each players’ athletic development.  The program will allow for the hockey coach to focus their efforts on skill development and game education.

The Hockey Academy is an excellent introduction to the sport of hockey and preparation for the Jr. Wild In-House Hockey program.  Hockey is an exciting team sport requiring speed, precision and teamwork.  Sportsmanship, team play and hockey skills will be emphasized in this program.

The Hockey Academy will insist that its coaches, parents and players understand and live by fair play and sportsmanship. We believe that the game of hockey teaches not only physical skills but should teach life skills necessary for our youth to develop into good citizens of our community.

Ages 5 and over are welcome to attend this class.

Hockey is a fun team sport for boys, girls, and even adults. Go and sign up for one of Icetown’s affordable tournament leagues and get taught the same things the big guys learn in the NHL. Become a member of the organized Coyotes Hockey Club, officially endorsed by the Southern California Amateur Hockey Association, and you can enjoy games all over the Riverside County and Los Angeles area. Local rink players of Icetown will receive equipment rentals and maybe even a fan or two. A schedule of every activity and event will be given to you upon sign up. Instead of hanging out in parks, malls, or other attractions, join us for a good puck play.
